Ever since I can remember, I've loved to bake. My early inspiration came from shows like Cake Boss and DC Cupcakes. I started baking on my own in middle school, making pretty much only cupcakes, but making a new kind every weekend. Shoutout to my baker aunt who gave me my first piping bag / tip set and still gives me tips & tricks, and recipes to this day when I ask. Also shoutout to my brothers who looked forward to each new weekend of cupcakes. I really started taking baking more seriously a few years ago when I started making birthday treats for my friends in college, a tradition I have since rekindled. I guess you could say baking for others is one of my love languages, and I love testing out new recipes and challenging myself to bake new things!
